The importance and propagation of pot marigold (Calendula officinalis L.)
Summary
The article provides information on the beneficial properties of the pot marigold, and investigates the bioecological and phenological development of the common and cultivated species in Ganja and nearby areas. During the phenological observations, different structure forms of the vegetative and generative organs of the Calendula officinalis were analyzed. Seed germination time, bushing and bush growth stages, seed shapes were determined as a result of research. Observations have shown that the seeds sown at the same time (in March) begin to germinate in the middle of April in different regions, and when the winter cold falls, pot marigold bushes stop growing and go through a period of rest. The article provides extensive information about the effects of these plants on the human body and their use.
