Taxonomy and distribution of some rare and endangered higher plants of Absheron peninsula

Summary

The article provides information on the distribution, taxonomy, bioecological characteristics and their limiting factors of five endangered species of various life forms (shrubs, grasses) found in Absheron. The Herbarium Fund of the Institute of Botany, MSE RA was examined and it was found that 32 copies of the studied species are kept. On the basis of literature materials, preliminary necessary measures for the protection of those species were proposed.
