Taxonomic analysis of the Hornwort (Ceratophyllaceae Gray) family in Azerbaijan

Summary

The article provides a systematic analysis of species of the family Ceratophyllaceae distributed in Azerbaijan. As a result of the study of the literature and fund materials, distribution of one more species was determined in our republic (C. tanaiticum) which is not shown in the multivolume “Flora of Azerbaijan”. In addition, a new distribution area of C. demersum species was discovered in Absheron. The article gives extensive notes on the statuses and distributions of the genus and species, their description, determinant key, nomenclatural types, geographic types and photos.
