Efficiency of application of trace elements under cotton in meadow-serozem soils of the Shirvan steppe

Summary

The article presents the results of a study of the influence of the introduction of trace elements of manganese, molybdenum, copper and zinc into the background of microfertilizers for cotton on slightly saline meadow-serozem soils of the Shirvan steppe on the growth and development of plants, the number of bolls and the fall of the reproductive organs of plants. Microfertilizers: used in the form of MnSO4 , CuSO4 , ZnSO4 and (NH4 ) 2 MoO4 against the background of nitrogen, phosphorus and potash fertilizers. Fertilizers were applied in two doses during the budding phase of plant development. It was established that the introduction of trace elements of manganese, molybdenum, copper and zinc under cotton on irrigated meadow-serozem soils of the Shirvan steppe had a positive effect on the growth and development of plants and the number of bolls in one bush and greatly reduced the fall of the reproductive organs of plants. It was noted that the application of these trace elements is of great economic importance for production.
