Algaflora of Gi̇zi̇lagaj National Park

Summary

As a result of research carried out in the waters of Great and Lesser Gizilaghaj bays of the Caspian sector of Azerbaijan the following algae species were identified, as well as the ecological parameters of the waters were studied (pH, temperature, altitude). Cyanophyta division was represented by three species: Lyngbya majuscula Harvey ex Gomont, L. aestuarii Liebman ex Gomont, Oscillatoria margaritifera Kütz ex Gomont, Charophyta division by two species: Spirogyra condensata (Vaucher) Dumortier 1822, Cosmarium cucumis Corda ex Ralfs, Bacillariophyta division by three species: Pleurosigma delicatulum W.Smith, Navicula directa (W.Smith) Brébisson, Cymbella cymbiformis C.Agardh 1830.
