Fungi belonging to the genus Phoma Sacc. of the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus

Summary

The research work was devoted to the study of micobiota distributed on plants belonging to Rosaceae family in Gabala, Ismayilli and Shamakhi districts of south slope of the Greater Caucasus. As a result of the conducted research, among the micromycetes found on 17 host plants, 15 fungi species belonging to the genus Phoma were identified. Of the studied species, seven were new species for Gabala, five for Ismayilli, and four for Shamakhi districts. The identification was made taking into account the modern taxonomic and nomenclature changes of micromycetes. The most frequently used synonyms of the species, collection site, and host plant are indicated.
