Species diversity and bioecological analysis of brioflora of Astara district of Azerbaijan

Summary

As a result of the study of the species composition and bioecology of leafy mosses distributed in the territory of Astara district of Azerbaijan, 77 species of leafy mosses belonging to 18 families and 38 genera were found and bioecological analysis was carried out. The species Syntrichia virescens (De Not.) Ochyra., Ulota crispa (Hedw.) Brid., Pseudocalleorgon lycopodioides (Brid.) Hedenas, Oreas martiana (Hoppe & Hornsch.) Brid. are leafy mosses that are new to the brioflora of Azerbaijan. The species Atrichum undulatum (Hedw.) Beauv., Atrichum haussknechtii Jur.& Milde, Mnium marginatum (Dicks.) P.Beauv., Palustriella decipiens (De Not.) Ochyra., Radula complanata (L.) Dumort. are rare species of mosses.
