Effect of microelements on the productivity of cotton plant on the background of macrofertilizers in the gray meadow soils of the Mughan plain

Summary

Development of cotton growing, which is considered a priority area in the republic, increase of its production and quality are one of the main issues ahead. The development of the cotton plant, as in all plants, varies depending on external environmental factors, including atmospheric and soil-climatic conditions. In order to study the effect of trace elements (manganese, copper, zinc, molybdenum) on the productivity of cotton plants micro-fertilizers were applied on the background of macro-fertilizers in the meadow-gray soils of the Mugan plain and its effect on increasing the productivity of cotton plants was studied. It was found that the amount of trace elements in general form in these soils is much less than clarke amount of the trace elements applied. In this regard, the application of macrofertilizers in meadow-gray soils under the cotton plant had a positive effect on plant productivity in all variants.
