Bryophytes of the Hirkan National park

Summary

As a result of research conducted in the Hirkan National Park, it was determined 32 species of 11 families, 16 genera in the area. Liverwort moss of the family Radulaceae is represented by single species – Radula complanata. Leafy mosses collected from the area are numerous (31 species) belonging to 15 genera and 10 families. The Brachytheciaceae family dominates among leafy mosses, which is represented by 9 species belonging to 4 genera. Of those, Brachythecium salebrosum, B. rutabulum, B. rivulare predominate in the area. As a result of research, 4 ecological groups of these species were identified. Epiphytes are represented by 16 species, epigeic by 8 species, epilits by 5 species, and epixyls by 3 species. The epiphytes dominate in the area.
