Typological analysis of the flora of the Central part of the Kura-Araz lowland
Summary
The article presents the results of taxonomic, biomorphological and bioecological analysis of the flora of the Kurdamir distirct, located in the central part of the Kura-Araz lowland. In the course of the study, 153 species of wild plants belonging to 39 families and 119 genera were registered in the region. It was found that in terms of the number of species composition, the leading families are the families Poaceae (29 species) and Asteraceae (23 species), followed by Amaranthaceae (17 species) and Fabaceae (13 species), the most adapted to the arid conditions of the region. The vegetation cover is dominated by herbaceous species (132 species, 86,3 %), among which dominate plants developing due to rainfall moisture - annuals (73 species, 47,7 %) and theophytes (73 species, 47,7%). Mesophytes (77 species, 5,3 %) and xeromesophytes (45 species, 29,4 %) prevail in relation to the water regime.
