Modern status and perspective using opportunities of Globularia trichosantha Fisch. & C.A. Mey. species in the territory of the Nakhchivan AR

Summary

The article provides information on Globularia trichosantha, one of the rare plants of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Its new taxonomic position, biology and new distribution areas were investigated. Some information is provided on the current state of the plant in nature, its biology, as well as on other using possibilities for the plant in landscaping parks and alleys. Thanks to the rosette leaves created around the rhizome, the plant’s dense turf prevents erosion on sloping slopes, which can be caused by rainwater.
