Plant biodvercity of Sutan-chay basin (East Azerbaijan province, Iran)

Summary

The research was conducted within the protected forests of Arasbaran of the Iran Islamic Republic. There were examined the plant biodiversity of the Sutanchay valley, which located 50 km northwest of the city of Kaleybar. One-way variation analysis (ANOVA) has shown that according to the Dominance and Evenness indices, groups and plant associations differ in terms of biodiversity and have 100% probability of substantial differences. Based on biodiversity indices, the experimental areas were divided into 6 groups.
