Morphological features of the stem and leaves of oil plants of the Quba mountain massives of the Azerbaijan Republic
Summary
The morphological features of the stems and leaves of oil plants of the Quba mountain massif of the Republic of Azerbaijan are considered. The regularity of the structure and location of vegetative organs was studied, and the changes in the general structure and individual organs (stems and leaves) during the individual development of the plant (ontomorphogenesis) were studied. The main characteristic classification features of stems and leaves of oil-bearing plants of the Quba mountain range are considered. The specific features of various oilseeds and their families are described. The quantitative statistics for each considered characteristic of stems and leaves of oil plants are presented. It was revealed that work on ontomorphogenesis and the study of the morphology of oil plants has an important role in the development of methods and recommendations for the rational use of wild useful plants (medicinal, food etc.) taking into account their renewal and for biological control over the growth of cultivated plants.
